The meeting participants approved 2019 Annual Report of ACTO and the Board members for 2020

On December 12, 2019, the annual General Meeting of ACTO was held.

Representatives of 22 member companies approved 2019 Annual Report of ACTO and the size and procedure for paying membership fees for 2020.

Then, the election of the members of the Board and the appointment of the Executive Director of the Association took place. Based on the results of the voting, the composition of the Board and the Executive Director of ACTO have not changed:

• Leonid Dzivinsky (PRA),
• Maria Nassonova (Almedis),
• Peter Kosminsky (Janssen),
• Olga Melnik (Novartis),
• Anna Filimonova (Parexel),
• Marina Filippova (PSI),
• Svetlana Zavidova (Executive Director) – by virtue of her position.

The results of a survey of ACTO members on the evaluation of the Association's work were presented at the general meeting. The participants discussed the projects of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the formation of a legal framework for the functioning of the Eurasian Economic Union common pharmaceutical market, the implementation of the “regulatory guillotine” mechanism and other relevant issues.

The event ended with a guided tour of the Petrovsky Palace, a sample of Russian neo-Gothic architecture, where the event took place.
