General Meeting of Association of Clinical Trials Organizations (ACTO) was held

The General Meeting admitted to membership pharmaceutical companies Amgen and NovoNordisk that share ACTO goals and objectives. The total number of ACTO members has reached 26.

The participants were informed about legal and tax problems associated with compensation of transport expenditures to study subjects in the Russian Federation. Different methods of compensation, their advantages and disadvantages were presented for consideration of General Meeting participants’. Senior associate at Ernst&Young Andrey Glebashev reported about contractual relationship on the clinical trials market.

The current situation on the market was also discussed.
