General Meeting of Association of Clinical Trials Organizations (ACTO) was held.

The General Meeting admitted to membership contract research organizations ICON Holdings and Medpace that share ACTO goals and objectives. The total number of ACTO members has reached 25. The participants of the General Meeting approved the activity report of ACTO (report period – 2010) and main activities for 2011.

The election of the Board members took place. Leonid Dzivinsky (ClinStar), Natalya Kakitelashvili (Almedis), Peter Kosminsky (Janssen), Mikhail Samsonov (Novartis), Pavel Tverdokhleb (PharmaNet), Marina Filippova (PSI) and Svetlana Zavidova (by virtue of her position) were elected for 2011.
