General Meeting of Association of Clinical Trials Organizations (ACTO)

Pharmaceutical companies Boehringer Ingelheim and Servier Laboratories as well as contract research organization PPD that share ACTO goals and objectives were admitted to membership. «We are pleased to welcome new members of the Association and hope that the cooperation within the Association will be mutually beneficial», said ACTO Executive Director Svetlana Zavidova.

The agenda of the Meeting included the discussion of The Federal Law "On Circulation of Medicines" that comes into force September 1, 2010 and regulations that shall be prepared in execution of the Federal Law.

The participants agreed to hold another Meeting December, 2010.
