Regulatory committee

The key objective of the Association is to promote optimization of regulatory authorities work and speed up the process of getting permissions.

To realize this objective, the Regulatory committee of ACTO monitors the timelines and working patterns of different structures of regulatory system. This helps to identify problems and to develop appropriate solutions.

The second objective of the Committee is to develop a common approach (where appropriate) for ACTO’s members to communicate with regulatory authorities, i.e. setting up standard procedures for document submission etc.

Committee on logistics

The main activities of the Committee include:

• helping to establish and ensure good taxation practice (VAT rate 10%) in the import of drugs for clinical trials (short-term goal);
• monitoring logistic services market (medium-term goal);
• analysing and developing solutions to the problem of medical devices and medical equipment certification imported for clinical trials; analysing other gaps in export/import legislation in clinical trials (long-term goal).
