At the General Meeting of ACTO, the Results of 2025 Were Summarized

December 11, 2025, Moscow. The annual General Meeting of the Association of Clinical Trials Organizations took place in Moscow. The event brought together representatives of pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations to review the results of the year, approve the Board, and discuss current industry issues.

The Association's Executive Director, Svetlana Zavidova, presented a detailed report on ACTO's activities in 2025. During the meeting, participants approved the rate and procedure for paying membership fees for 2026 and re-elected the current Board of the Association, extending its term for another year.

The Board of ACTO for 2026 includes:

• Syuzanna Kiabiya (ICON);
• Peter Kosminsky (Janssen);
• Olga Melnik (Novartis);
• Anna Filimonova (Parexel);
• Marina Filippova (PSI);
• Svetlana Zavidova (Executive Director of ACTO) – ex officio.

In addition to the traditional topics of the annual meeting, attendees discussed the prospects for conducting international multicenter clinical trials in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, with a focus on the potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Industry experts shared their analysis of the regulatory environment and logistical capabilities, as well as experience in collaborating with research centers in Kazakhstan.

The informal discussion of other issues continued after the official part of the event concluded.
