Annual General Meeting of ACTO was held

The annual General Meeting of Association of Clinical Trials Organizations was held via video conference on December 15, 2020.

The representatives of 25 companies listened to the presentation of the Executive Director Svetlana Zavidova on the work of the Association and voted to approve the report on the ACTO activities for 2020.

The meeting participants supported the proposal to leave unchanged the size and procedure for paying membership fees for 2021.

It was unanimously resolved to re-elect the Executive Director as well as all other members of the Board of the Association:

• Leonid Dzivinsky (PRA),
• Maria Nassonova (Almedis),
• Peter Kosminsky (Janssen),
• Olga Melnik (Novartis),
• Anna Filimonova (Parexel),
• Marina Filippova (PSI),
• Svetlana Zavidova (Executive Director) – by virtue of her position.

The meeting participants discussed the possibility of remote monitoring and remote source data verification, they also got acquainted with the presentation on clinical trial standards violations that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.
